“Early exposure to Science is important because familiarity with a subject can generate interest and curiosity while establishing a sense of competency.”  Providing access to successful female role models in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) can be a powerful tool.  When students see successful women working in a wide variety of science and tech fields and enjoying those fields, they begin to understand WHO

they can become and how STEM can help them get there.  Girls want to make the world a better place, and we want to give them the tools to do so.  We want to expose them to STEM early, when they are young, as unfortunately, they do not get the same exposure as their male counterparts.

“It is often subtle, but it’s the first hurdle that confronts and confounds so many women.”  We want girls to be comfortable with STEM and encourage confidence by working with women who can show her the possibilities awaiting.

August 4-8, 10-12pm, $50, with $25 annual registration fee or valid membership.  Ages 8-12.  This camp is meant to inspire girls to explore their universe and will be taught by women who are experts in their fields of S.T.E..M. (science, tech, engineering, and math) We have mentors in biology, chemistry, materials engineering, technology and horticulture.  Explore with a different mentor each day, do a hands-on project, and your child will finish the week inspired and enthusiastic about what possibilities her future can hold.  Contact us at to register.  Space is limited.
