New Toddler Parent Participation Group
Science, Art, Music, Movement, and fun in the Science Center.
Ages : 9-12
Session 1: July 14th to July 18th
Session 2: July 21st to July 25th
This one week summer camp is designed for 9-12 year olds who have been playing with LEGOS and are ready to move on to programming and more sophisticated design.
Students will learn how to assemble the NXT robots, how to work with light, sound and motion sensors, and how to program the robots using a computer. How would you like the opportunity to build a robot that responds to sound, chases its tail, or throws a ball? With the LEGO NXT system you can get your robots to do these things, and more! NXT kits and computer access will be provided. Instructor Greg Randall is a retired engineer, robot enthusiast, and 3 times FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Robotics coach.
$85 per student/session with paid $25 annual registration of valid membership.
